805 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, MODr. Campbell is a program specialist with NIFA’s Institute of Bioenergy, Climate, and Environment. She is a biocultural anthropologist with expertise in agricultural decision making, food production, cultural ecology, sustainability and perceptions of climate change. Prior to joining NIFA, Dr. Campbell was an adjunct assistant professor of Anthropology at Kansas State University and served as manager for multiple USDA-NIFA funded research projects. She has conducted research into farmer decision making processes around determining agricultural inputs and management practice adoption as well as the beliefs, concerns, and attitudes of beef cattle producers and Extension educators in the Southern Great Plains region regarding climate change. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from Emory University, and a B.S. in Anthropology from Kansas State University.
